"Shaken not Stirred" 18 x 24 Acrylic by John K. Harrell

I captured this image from a recent trip to Provence Town MA. This very quaint town on the cape has quite a developed and highly regarded art community. I was enjoying gallery hopping and stopped to partake in the local fare. This restaurant had the most iconic bar which I imagined only existed on a movie set. The friendly well dressed bartender was very adept at his craft and made the perfectly delicious compliment to a day of beautiful art.

Mens Wear 7 x 5 Acrylic by John K. Harrell

$200.00 + $10.00 S/H

So many things catch my interest these days that I will never have time to paint them all, but what I like about doing these small paintings and having my blog to share them on is that I can satisfy the thrill of quenching my thirst for that subject quickly and move on to something else. I find that the more technology evolves my artistic world expands right along with it. From the new freedom of camera phones to capture images, and it's capability to process and engage them on social platforms is quite profound.
To be honest keeping up with the technology is sometimes daunting but at the same time exciting. I see it's value in so many personal and professional applications that I can't see a world with out it anymore. Do I fight the current of advancement or do I choose to embrace the limitless journey ahead? I answer the call to Blogger, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and anything else that comes along that I'm up for a wild ride of discovery!
