Nothing says summer like a beautiful window flower box. This one was particularly eye catching because of the contrast between the red geraniums and the white paint of the house and window curtains. The old fashioned curtains somehow match the traditional use of a longtime favorite annual.

I took a wonderful trip to Provincetown MA. this summer and have done a wonderful series of paintings. Most of the daily paintings are of the beach and the spectacular gardens. My larger pieces are of street scenes of the quaint town. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did painting them.

My friend Susan sent me this one and I fell in love with it. I haven't had the pleasure of seeing a Cardinal in real life, but after painting this one I can't wait to meet one face to face.
