Fall Splendor 6 x 6 Acrylic Colorado Landscape Painting by artist John K. Harrell
Painting from essentially my own back yard is quite a treat. This is a scene from Kenosha Pass in Colorado. I live in the city of Denver but, with 45 minutes I can be taking pictures of such beautiful scenery such as this. How fortunate I am.

Care Free 7 x 5 Acrylic Figurative Water Scape Painting
SOLD
I enjoy painting the figure especially when I can capture an act so simple as a child playing on the beach. The common becomes the uncommon in certain situations and that is what I always strive to portray in my work.

Urban Mist 5 x 7 Acrylic Urban Landscape of New York City

A city in the mist of a blanket of fog. A subject I'm drawn to over and over again. This scene happens to be in the big apple close to Times Square.

Floating Tranquility 5 x 7 Acrylic water Landcape with boats
SOLD
I have lived in a land locked city my whole life. So, when I get the chance to visit a city where there are views of the ocean and everything that comes with them, I'm totally captivated. This day the water was like glass and the boats were patiently waiting for their next adventure. It was a moving but, very tranquil
moment. I hope I've captured their story here on the canvas.
