I have completed quite a few pet portraits in the last few weeks. These portraits are becoming some of my favorite subjects to paint for two reasons. The first being the challenge of capturing the essence of the subject and secondly,experiencing the reaction of the client when they see the finished work. Both are exhilarating! This little lady is Lucy, a Shih Tzu.
