Window to Poppies Acrylic 6 x 6



SOLD

I just had to paint this window. It reminded me of when I lived in New Mexico as a kid and most of the homes were stucco with turquoise window panes. That coupled with one of my favorite flowers, I couldn't wait to recreate it on the canvas. Enjoy!

Hi John,
There is a story to the blue windows and doors in NM. They keep the evil spirits out of the home. It is soooooo northern NM. I love it!
Your paintings are lovely and I especially like your rainy day paintings. You have really 'caught' them!
