SOLDFlash is a Basset Hound. A good friend of the owners commissioned me to paint this portrait of him. He was up there in years but the owner thought this was indicative of his personality.
My uncle had a Basset Hound when I was a kid and all I can remember about him was his ears dragging on the floor and his tail making a lot of noise when he would wag it and hit the floor.
They are such characters and interesting subjects for a painting.
