This area is just west of Fort Collins Colorado and is a part of the Colorado State University Campus. I attended this campus as part of my curriculum in the Forestry Department. Pingree Park evokes such wonderful memories of my studies that painting it made me feel like I was back in forestry school.

I took this picture when I was visiting a fried in Portland Oregon. We made a day trip to the coast and there was quite the storm brewing. The winds,rain and big waves made for a dramatic landscape. I was trying to get some cool shots but couldn't until this care came along and gave me a focal point. Hope you like.
