This area is just west of Fort Collins Colorado and is a part of the Colorado State University Campus. I attended this campus as part of my curriculum in the Forestry Department. Pingree Park evokes such wonderful memories of my studies that painting it made me feel like I was back in forestry school.
Colorado in the fall is spectacular. Taking a road trip into the Rocky Mountains is an artist's dream. I took so many picture on this trip I could choose a different one everyday for a couple years and still not make a dent in the scenes I could paint. Enjoy!
