Conductor's Stance Acrylic 7 x 5

SOLD

A friend of mine let me go through a plethora of his photographs for painting inspiration. I found many wonderful subjects to paint but have no reference of time and place and simply chose them because they caught my eye. So in this one I imagined that the train was about to leave and the Conductor was shouting "all aboard" A very somewhere in time moment.

This is a portrait of Bernie a wonderful chocolate lab who has recently passed away. Her family commissioned me to paint her portrait to remember her by. I was honored to paint it for them and they were very happy with the result.

A Shady Place Acrylic 7 x 5

SOLD

Anybody that knows me knows I am all city but something about cows makes me want to paint them. It must be their gentle energy and simple expressions. Regardless I appreciate the opportunity to catch their essence on canvas.

I just love the energy of the city and New York is unlike any other I have experienced. This taxi was a classic and the rainy day was a perfect compliment to it.

Late Afternoon in France

SOLD

The light in the south of France if much like the light from where I grew up in Albuquerque New Mexico. Late afternoon light was crisp and brilliant with no atmosphere to hinder it's effects on the landscape.
